Michael Starkweather was announced in the March 2008 issue of La Presna Times, a Spanish newspaper publication, as a new member of the Latin American Chamber of Commerce. La Presna Times is Utah’s official bilingual newspaper, which said, “Michael Starkweather, a distinguished local attorney that specializes in patent work for large companies, formed Advantia Law Group in order to better serve the ethnic communities in Utah . His focus is to aid and defend the civil and human rights of those who are less represented in our state. Michael is a new member of the Latin American Chamber of Commerce.” Michael Starkweather has also been active in other cultural communities such as the Utah Asian Chamber of Commerce, to which he donated $3,000.
